Job Description

This position involves clinical and administrative duties to support patient care and operations within the healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assistance to healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
• Perform routine tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for tests, and maintaining cleanliness in examination areas.
• Manage patient records and documentation accurately using electronic medical record systems.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care and procedures.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant license in Massachusetts required; candidates may apply for temporary or permanent licensure at the time of submission.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is preferred.
• Local travelers are not eligible; candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
