Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional patient care and support while maintaining professional standards and practices. This position involves both weekend and holiday commitments on an every-other-weekend rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care.
• Perform administrative duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Effectively communicate with patients and their families regarding care and treatment plans.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and health regulations.
• Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Qualifications

• Valid Medical Assistant license in Massachusetts.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
• Willingness to work with individuals not currently residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
