Job Description

This position requires a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to deliver high-quality respiratory care services within a clinical setting. The selected candidate will work the night shift, with occasional daytime flexibility, and must be prepared to work every other weekend, including possible holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Provide emergency respiratory care services as needed.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory disease management and treatment options.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
• Required certifications:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC

Shift Information

This role involves night shifts with flexibility for daytime shifts as needed. The candidate must also be available to work every other weekend and be open to additional shifts on holidays.
