Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a night shift schedule. The successful candidate will work three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with responsibilities rotating every other weekend and holidays as needed. Floating between various facilities is a requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to acutely ill medical-surgical and orthopedic patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including those with acute and chronic respiratory illnesses, post-operative cases, and various other medical conditions.
• Administer IV medication drips as required, including Heparin and TNA.
• Manage and document patient care plans, ensuring compliance with healthcare protocols.
• Support patients experiencing substance withdrawal, suicidal ideations, or arrhythmias.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Patient Population

• Acute/Chronic respiratory illnesses
• Post-operative cases (general surgery, GYN surgery, total knee, and hip replacements)
• Orthopedic conditions
• Acute and chronic pain management
• Active gastrointestinal bleeding
• Congestive heart failure (CHF) and pulmonary edema
• Diabetes management (hyperglycemic and hypoglycemic conditions)
• Renal failure management
• Substance overdose interventions

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIH certifications preferred.
• Experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry is mandatory.
• First-time travelers are encouraged to apply.
