Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the OB/GYN specialty is responsible for the care of assigned patients during their shift. This role requires the RN to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using age-specific criteria. Clinical judgments are based on scientific knowledge and hands-on skills. The RN will also support and guide non-RN staff, including LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries, ensuring effective patient care delivery.

Shift Notes

• Varied 12-Hour Shifts (3P - 3A and 3A - 3P) - Negotiable
• 36 Hour Guarantee
• Every 3rd Weekend required

• 12/10
• 12/22

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of OB experience - Required
• Completion of at least 1 travel assignment - Required
• Ability to function as a first assist and scrub in OB - Highly Preferred
• NO holiday requests for time off will be accepted

Certification Requirements

• Active NRP Certification - Required
• Active Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Certification - Required
• Active STABLE Certification - Required
• Active ACLS Certification (AHA) - Required
• Active BLS Certification (AHA) - Required

Licensure Requirements

• Must have an active Ohio or Compact RN License - Required

Additional Requirements

Must demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes. The ability to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team and contribute to the patient care process is essential.
