Shift: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Tuesday/Thursday 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Position Overview
The OB/GYN Ultrasound Technician will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures in a general radiology suite. This role involves working with patients throughout various stages of pregnancy and gynecological exams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct first, second, and third trimester ultrasound exams.
- Perform gynecological and transvaginal ultrasound examinations.
- Ensure a 1:1 clinician to patient ratio during patient interactions.
- Utilize EPIC for electronic medical record charting.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field.
- Certification in RDMS-ABD and OB/GYN is required.
- Proficient in OB scanning and various ultrasound techniques.
Patient Population
This position focuses on an outpatient schedule, providing care to a diverse patient population.
Work Environment
The ultrasound technician will work in a single ultrasound room located within a radiology suite at an off-site location.
