Description

Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a dynamic Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be comfortable with a varied patient population, including surgical and overflow medical patients.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit.
Interpret and manage telemetry readings; all nurses are expected to analyze their own ECG strips.
Float between all Medical Surgical Telemetry units as needed.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent acute Medical Surgical nursing experience, specifically with telemetry.
Licensure: Current Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts.
Certifications: CPR and ACLS certification required.
Technical Skills: Proficient in using Epic and other electronic health record systems.
Ability to pass ECG/Telemetry and Medications tests with a minimum score of 85% as a part of the onboarding process.

Additional Requirements

Flu vaccination is mandatory unless a valid medical exemption is provided.
Candidates must have been separated from employment with previous organizations for at least 6 months and be in good standing.
