Job Description

The Cath Lab Technologist provides professional patient care by applying Radiologic skills and procedures to a designated group of patients. This role involves direct patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare team members, physicians, and patients/families to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties within the Cath Lab, including scrubbing and monitoring multiple modalities.
• Assist in heart catheterization procedures, including emergent cases (impella, IABP), peripheral lab, and electrophysiology lab.
• Document and monitor patient procedures effectively.
• Access patient information and make decisions in collaboration with team members, supervisors, and physicians.

Shift Information

• Schedule: Weekdays, 4x10s from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call: Must meet a 45-minute response time; one weekend a month and two nights per week
• 40 hours guaranteed per week

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current Cath Lab experience required.
• Preferred: 1 year of travel experience.
• Required Certifications:
  • Ohio State Licensure
  • ARRT (R)
  • BLS
  • ACLS

• Holiday coverage may be required.
