Position Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide exceptional patient care in a medical-surgical unit, focusing on a diverse adult and geriatric patient population. This role requires strong clinical skills and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Shift Details

• 12-hour Day shifts
• 36-hour work week
• Every other weekend and holidays required as needed
• No on-call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
• Coordinate patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and advocate for patients and their families.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and patient management.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and manage their overall health needs.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management and disease prevention.
• Maintain patient safety and demonstrate competency in nursing skills.
• Willingness to float to other units as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience required.
• Experience with Epic EMR is required.
• Must possess a New Hampshire RN license or a compact RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
• Active NIH Stroke Certification is required.
• Traveler must have own vehicle.

Dress Code

Professional scrubs are to be provided by the traveler. Scrubs should be free of any logos.

Additional Information

Orientation will not be billable. All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed within 5 days of accepting the offer. Any requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.
