Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will exhibit extensive experience in orthopedic and cataract surgeries and possess proficient knowledge in operating surgical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, instruments, and supplies.
• Scrub in on DaVinci Robotics cases, as well as orthopedic surgeries, ensuring a sterile environment.
• Travel between multiple locations, primarily within the region, to support surgical teams as needed.
• Adhere to established protocols to maintain patient safety and quality of care.
• Float to other facilities as required, depending on staffing needs and surgical demand.
• Respond to on-call requirements as scheduled, including weekend shifts and weeknight calls.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA are required.
• Demonstrated experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Strong background in orthopedic and cataract surgical procedures.
• Experience with DaVinci Robotics is necessary; additional spine surgery experience is a plus.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
• Flu vaccination is required prior to starting the position.
