Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in an acute care facility, specifically in medical/surgical and telemetry settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry environment.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and report any changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid MA RN License.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of medical/surgical and telemetry experience in an acute care setting.
- Experience with Meditech is highly preferred.
- Availability to work nights from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and holiday. Flexibility to work on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day based on unit needs is mandatory.
Additional Information
This position requires a professionalism and commitment to patient care within a high-demand environment. Travelers are welcome, and additional travel experience is required for this role.
