Position Overview

We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Medical Surgical Unit. This role requires flexibility, as candidates will need to float to various departments to cover staffing needs when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a 32-bed medical/surgical unit.
• Utilize innovative technologies and practices in nursing.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and their families.
• Participate in the holiday rotation, including working designated holidays.

Scheduling Information

• Shift: 4x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00).
• Staff members are required to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations.
• Rotating groups for self-scheduling every week.
• Expect to work one summer and one winter holiday during your assignment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Pending licensure is accepted.
• Must be able to work three 12-hour or four 12-hour shifts per week.
• Local candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius.

Additional Information

Ratios: 1:6.
