Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in MS/Tele to join our orthopedic surgery unit. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in nursing, showcasing at least one year of experience in a comparable specialty. This position requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Shift Details

Shift: Night (4x12 hours, 18:45 - 07:15)
Floating required as necessary based on skill set
Weekend coverage: Every other weekend (subject to change based on need)

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the orthopedic surgery unit.
Utilize the Omnicell medication system for medication management.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Identify and respond to patient needs and challenges effectively.

Qualifications

Must hold an active Tennessee RN license or a multi-state license.
At least one year of experience in MS/Tele nursing.
Proficiency in the EPIC electronic medical record system required.
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
Preferred background includes experience in teaching and community hospitals.
First-time travelers will not be considered for this position.
