We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on the Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit. This position is a night shift role requiring a commitment to high-quality patient care in a Level I Trauma Center environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in a fast-paced, acute care setting.
• Utilize a team nursing model to deliver patient care, collaborating closely with other nursing staff.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and administer treatments as per physician orders.
• Document patient care using electronic medical records.
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans.
• Maintain a safe and compassionate environment for patients and families.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid nursing license in compliance with NLC guidelines.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is required.
• Prior travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented model.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide compassionate care.

Schedule:

This position requires availability for night shifts, operating a 4x12-hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:00. Weekend shifts may be needed as necessary.

Additional Information:

First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have a minimum of 5 years of specialized experience. Local candidates within a 100-mile radius are also not eligible to apply for this position. All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application.
