We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. This position is designed for experienced professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong background in patient care.

Shift Details

• Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
• Block Schedules: Not available
• Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Utilize a team nursing model with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:12, effectively collaborating to split the caseload.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Assess patient conditions and coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center and large hospital environment is required.
• Travel experience is preferred; first-time travelers are not accepted unless they have 5+ years of experience in the specialty.
• Candidates must have a current nursing license in compliance with the NLC guidelines.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be provided at the time of submission.

Additional Information

• Weekend availability as needed.
• Not accepting local candidates within a 100-mile radius.
• Special requirements include Level I Trauma experience.
