Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Orthopedic Surgery

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Orthopedic Surgery to join our team on a night shift basis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in orthopedic nursing care and possess a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Shift Details

Shift: 3x12 Nights or 4x12 Nights (18:45 - 07:15)
Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, subject to change based on needs
Floating may be required to other units based on skill set

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic procedures
Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient conditions
Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies using the Omnicell medication system
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and recovery

Qualifications

Active TN RN license or multistate RN license
Minimum of 1 year of experience in orthopedic nursing
At least 1 year of experience using EPIC electronic medical records system
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
Preferred experience in teaching and community hospital settings
This position does not accept first-time travelers
