Description

Occupational Therapist (OT) - Inpatient Rehab

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team. This position focuses primarily on neurological rehabilitation, with a high prevalence of stroke diagnoses, as well as other conditions such as brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, cancer, and debility.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and assess patient needs and design therapeutic interventions accordingly.
Implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patient recovery and functional mobility.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Document progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on patient outcomes.
Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation protocols and home exercise programs.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to healthcare planning.

Schedule

This position offers flexible scheduling options:

5x8s, Days, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Friday to Tuesday)
4x10s, Days, from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM (Friday to Monday)

Qualifications

Current NBCOT certification required.
Current BLS certification required.
Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system is required.
Previous experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility is strongly preferred.
A strong background in acute care will be considered.
No new graduates; candidates must have healthcare experience.
