Position Overview

The Multispecialty Ultrasound Tech will perform a range of ultrasound procedures, including general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular, echocardiogram, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill exams. This role requires coordination with healthcare teams and a strong focus on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality ultrasound examinations across various specialties.
• Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure it is in optimal working condition.
• Assist in diagnostic procedures and collaborate with physicians for patient assessments.
• Maintain patient records and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Adhere to safety and infection control procedures.

On-Call Requirements

On-call duties are required during weeknights and weekends, with a commitment to be available from 5 PM to 8 AM from Monday to Friday and for 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Shift Details

The position operates on a day shift with a 4x10 hour schedule, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in performing diverse ultrasound procedures as listed above.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and patients.
• Available to commit to on-call duties and flexible scheduling.

Additional Information

• Block schedules are required.
• Expected patient ratios are 8:1.
• This role does not float between units.
• Weekend availability is necessary for on-call responsibilities.
