Description

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Adult Respiratory Therapy unit. This position offers a night shift with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours.

Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to adult patients in critical care settings.
Administer ventilatory support and oxygen therapy as per protocols.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to monitor and assess patient progress.
Conduct diagnostic tests and procedures to evaluate pulmonary function.
Educate patients and their families regarding respiratory therapies and care.

Qualifications

Must possess a minimum of one year of experience in Adult Critical Care.
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Current licensure in good standing with the Board of Registration of Massachusetts.
ACLS and BLS certification is required.
Preference for candidates with NICU experience for specific openings.

Additional Information

This position may involve working nights or rotating shifts as needed. Candidates are expected to be adaptable and dedicated to providing high-quality respiratory care to our patient population.
