Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Stepdown Neuro Registered Nurse to join our team. This role is critical in providing high-quality care for patients in a stepdown neuro unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuro care and a commitment to patient-centered services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and ongoing care.
- Support nursing colleagues and assist in training new staff members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a preference for those with neuro experience.
- Active nursing license; pending licenses are not accepted.
- Ability to work a day shift in a 3x12-hour format.
- Able to accommodate weekend shifts every other week.
- Must be able to work within a 50-mile radius; locals are accepted.
Additional Information
Shifts are scheduled for 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We are open to accommodating block schedules. There are no RTO restrictions except for the specified period from February 8, 2026, to March 26, 2026.
