Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Ultrasound Tech with experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology. The selected candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures and serve patients in various OB/GYN settings, contributing to high-quality patient care.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Experience working in High Risk OB & Outpatient settings
- General Ultrasound proficiency in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Specific OB/GYN skills including:
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Trimester ultrasounds
- Amniotic fluid index assessments
- Fetal anatomical surveys
- Placenta previa evaluations
- Neonatal skills, including:
- Bone lengths measurement
- Cerebellum and ventricles assessments
- Head and heart evaluations
- Renal/Pelvis skills in assessing:
- Bladder
- Hernia
- Ovaries
- Prostate
- Renal/Bladder
- Uterus and vaginal assessments
- MUST have ARDMS and ARDMS OB/GYN certifications
- BLS Certification required
Preferred Skills and Certifications
- Nuchal Translucency Screen skills desirable
- ARDMS FE and NT certifications preferred
Job Details
- Shift Length: 40 hours per week
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM with a 45-minute meal break
- No call requirement
- Float requirement may be applicable
- No weekend requirements
- Contract staff may be assigned to work during emergency situations or disasters
- Special procedures involve level 1 OB scans and GYN scans
- Must be a registered diagnostic medical sonographer
- Special equipment used: GE
- Unit systems: EPIC
- Scrubs not provided; any color accepted
