Job Overview
A Mammo Technologist is needed for a 13-week contract with a focus on providing high-quality breast imaging services. The role involves both screening and diagnostic mammography as well as maintaining patient care standards and routine quality control.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent mammography experience.
- Must hold ARRT(M) certification.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Applicable state licensure is mandatory.
- Verification of current MQSA qualifications, continuing education, and examination volume is required prior to start.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in digital breast tomosynthesis.
- Proficiency in positioning and ensuring image quality.
- Strong patient care skills.
- Breast biopsy experience is considered an asset.
Unit Information
This position supports a breast imaging unit that serves both screening and diagnostic patients.
Call, Weekend, and Holiday Requirements
No call, weekends, or holiday coverage is required for this position.
