Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Notes

12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with the ability to occasionally flex to mid-day shifts. Requires a commitment of 36 hours per week and every other weekend availability.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires the ability to work independently, particularly during nighttime hours when the department may have limited staff. After 10 PM, you will be the sole RN on duty, with support from the House Coordinator until 8 AM the following morning.

Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical skills, the ability to manage emergencies effectively, and the experience needed to thrive in a Critical Access Hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current Emergency Room experience (required)
• Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital (required)
• Previous travel nursing experience (highly preferred)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (highly preferred)

Certification Requirements

• TNCC (Required)
• NRP (Highly Preferred)
• BLS (AHA) (Required)
• NIHSS (Required)
• ACLS (AHA) (Required)
• PALS (AHA) (Required)
• ENPC (Highly Preferred)

Additional Requirements

• Active state license in New Hampshire (required)
• All licenses and certifications must be current at the time of application.
• Candidate must arrange for housing prior to accepting the position.
• Reliable transportation is required, as the location is in a rural area.
