Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Telemetry to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Position Information

- Years of Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years, including 1 year of travel experience
Education & Certifications Required
- Certifications: BLS
- Education Modules: Mandatory onboarding education
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 43
- Patient Ratios:
- Day Shift Med/Surg: 1:4-5
- Night Shift Med/Surg: 1:5-6
- Equipment: Ventilators, BiPaP, CPAP, CPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non-Rebreather, Epidural pumps, IV pumps, specialty beds, PCA pumps, VAC dressings, Trach care and maintenance
- EMR: Epic
Qualifications
- Must Have Skills/Experience:
- Experience with ventilators for IMC RNs
- Experience with tracheostomies and interpreting telemetry strips
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: Experience caring for patients with respiratory issues, sepsis, DKA, altered mental status, and various acute medical conditions
Personality Fit
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork skills, flexibility, effective communication, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
