Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care to join our Float Pool team. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in various settings as needed. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and possess a strong passion for delivering excellent nursing care to diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
• Float between units as required, maintaining a high standard of care in various settings.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data, ensuring timely interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care transitions.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with facility protocols.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry settings.
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and 100% on lethal rhythms.
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:5.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to cover weekends and holidays as needed.

• Position Type: Full-time
• Schedule: 4x12 Night shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Scrubs: Navy color required, not provided by employer.
• Flu vaccine is mandatory for all employees.
