Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong IV skills and have the ability to provide high-quality nursing care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Caring for a diverse patient population with a focus on both outpatient (75%) and inpatient (25%) care.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate documentation using EMR systems, including EPIC and EndoWorks.
• Participating in weekend and holiday on-call coverage as needed.
• Self-scheduling for weekday call requirements.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (must be AHA) and ACLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Strong IV skills are essential.

Shift Expectations

• Four ten-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30.
• Weekend coverage is provided through on-call duty, including 10-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday.
• Weekday on-call coverage is approximately 2 hours, self-scheduled.

Additional Information

• Orientation period of 1 week on the floor.
• Uniform requirements: Navy blue pants and solid navy blue or solid white tops; solid navy blue or solid white jackets may be worn.
• Movement to probation is expected during the initial evaluation period.
