Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg team. This role is essential for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical/Surgical unit.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and recovery plans.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license in Mississippi or a compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required; 5+ years preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Work Schedule

The successful candidate will work a combination of shifts: four 12-hour shifts one week (48 hours) followed by three 12-hour shifts the next week (36 hours). Schedules will include:

• 4x12s: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
• 3x12s: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday

Weekend rotations are required, and applicants should be prepared to work on holidays if they fall on scheduled shifts. There is no call duty associated with this position.
