We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology (IR), and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab team. This position requires a strong background in pre and post-procedural care, with a focus on providing excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Cath Lab, IR, and EP Lab prep and recovery areas.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care before and after procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition throughout the procedural process.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding procedures and post-operative care.
• Adhere to established protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in precepting new staff and students as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab, IR, or EP Lab setting.
• Must have completed at least one travel nursing assignment.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience in pre and post-procedural nursing is essential.
• Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems.

Additional Information:

• Shift: 3x12 Hours, either Day or Evening shifts are available.
• No on-call, holidays, or weekend shifts required.
• Average Daily Census: 15-30 patients.
• Rooms: 12 procedural rooms available.
• Flu vaccination is mandatory for all staff.
