Job Overview
This role involves providing high-quality patient care as a Registered Nurse, with a focus on intensive care unit (ICU) experience. The position requires a commitment to professionalism and strong clinical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in an ICU setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions to ensure optimal health and recovery.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans effectively.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Participate in educational initiatives and provide guidance to nursing staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Completion of dysrhythmia testing prior to the start of the assignment.
- Previous experience in an ICU setting is preferred.
Additional Information
This assignment is a 36-hour work week, with 12-hour day shifts scheduled from 7 AM to 7 PM. Orientation will occur on a biweekly basis. Schedule requests will be considered at the manager’s discretion.
It is recommended to have personal transportation as public transportation options may be limited.
