Job Description:

The Neuro ICU cares for critically ill patients with various neurological conditions, including neurotrauma, status epilepticus, stroke, and spinal cord injuries, often accompanied by complex comorbidities and multisystem organ involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medications, and therapeutic interventions.
• Educate patients and families on health matters and care plans.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of critical care experience is required.
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Ability to work 36 or 48 hours per week, with options for straight night shifts or rotating day/night shifts.
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday.

Patient Population: Adult patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2.

Bed Count: 24 beds, typically accommodating a census of 22 patients.
