We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse for night shifts. The ideal candidate must possess active RN licensure in Wisconsin and meet the following certification requirements: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS. The role may involve working at multiple locations within the region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in providing patient care.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing techniques, policies, procedures, standards of care, and state laws.
• Documents care according to established standards.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care.
• Develops and executes individual patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and according to clinic policies, including patient and family education.
• Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance.
• Utilizes clinical expertise to provide guidance to other units and departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care.
• Applies critical thinking to enhance patient safety and experience, appropriately escalating issues up the chain of command.
• Engages in professional nursing activities, unit practice decisions, and the peer review process.

Additional Information

Holiday coverage is required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency room setting is preferred.
