Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PreOp/PACU/Pre-Post Cath and Procedural Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role involves working with patients across various procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Information
The position requires availability from 9 AM to 9 PM on varying days. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including coverage during holidays.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in the PreOp and PACU settings.
- Assist in the recovery process for a variety of surgical and procedural cases, including Orthopedics, Podiatry, ENT, Urology, GYN, General, Plastics, Endo, and Ophthalmology.
- Care for patients undergoing Pre/Post Cath procedures, ensuring optimal recovery and patient safety.
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications as required.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient health outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a related field.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required.
- Proficiency in recovering patients in both adult and pediatric care is essential.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and case loads.
