We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Surgical Technician (CST) to join our operating room team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience and a passion for providing high-quality surgical care.

Job Details

• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week)
• Weekend Requirements: None; holiday coverage may be required as needed
• On Call Requirements: None

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile environment.
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies with proficiency.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
• Float to different locations as needed, including Endoscopy.
• Work in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of current experience as a CST.
• Experience in total joint replacement is required.
• Endoscopy experience is required, as the CST will be utilized in this area multiple times per week.
• Precept experience is required.
• Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is required; equivalent certifications are not accepted.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• The candidate must have their own transportation, as the location is not served by public transport.
• All scheduling requests and any requested time off must be submitted at the time of application.
