Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Burn Intensive Care Unit (BICU) at a Level 1 trauma and academic facility. The unit is currently comprised of 16 beds and is expanding to accommodate 20 beds to meet the needs of our patients.
Shift Information
- Schedule: Night Shift (3x12-Hour: 19:00 - 07:00)
- Block Schedules: No
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
- Epic experience is mandatory; no exceptions will be made.
- Must possess a valid RN license.
Unit Details
The BICU is designed for critically ill burn patients, providing specialized care and support. Our dedicated team works collaboratively to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients in the BICU.
- Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in assessing and managing patient care.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and families.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and education to enhance clinical skills.
