Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Certified Surgical Technician to join our team. The primary role of the surgical technician is to assist in surgical operations by preparing and organizing the operating room, ensuring a sterile environment, and providing support to surgeons and other medical professionals during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgery.
- Assist in the performance of surgical procedures.
- Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and available for use.
- Monitor the patient's condition and assist in patient positioning.
- Maintain accurate records and follow safety protocols.
- Participate in call rotation as required.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technician.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instruments.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
Work Schedule
This position requires work from 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM, with shifts being 4 to 9 hours in length, including availability for call rotation.
