Job Overview
An opportunity is available for an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare team. This position offers a 3x12 day shift schedule and is ideal for professionals looking to advance their careers in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-Ray examinations in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure accurate positioning of patients and equipment to obtain optimal radiologic images.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain and operate radiology equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
- Current certifications in BLS and ARRT (R).
- Skills as per unit description.
Work Schedule
- Shift: 3x12 Days (08:00 - 20:00)
- Weekend work is required.
- Flexibility to float within scope to meet facility needs, including Emergency Department, Operating Room, and portable services.
Additional Information
- Time off will be considered on an individual basis upon offer, with a maximum of one request per 13-week assignment.
- Guaranteed hours of 60 per 2 weeks, with travelers potentially receiving one call-off during the same period.
- Block schedule accommodations may be available.
- Local candidates are not accepted; applicants must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
- Parks at the facility are free of charge, and scrubs will be provided.
- Charting will be conducted using the Epic system.
