Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit. This position requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to float within the facility as needed.

Schedule

The position includes weekend shifts every other week, and candidates must be adaptable to the facility's scheduling needs. Please note that no schedule requests can be accommodated.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit.
• Float to CNA/Tech roles within the facility as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, maintaining a standard of professionalism at all times.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of two years of nursing experience is required. First-time travelers are accepted.

Holidays

Travelers are expected to work during major holidays based on their assignment period. If one major holiday falls within the assignment, the traveler must work it. For two major holidays, both are expected, and for three major holidays, the traveler will work two of them.

• Major Holidays include:
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
• New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day

Compliance

Full compliance with required documentation is necessary to start on time. Non-compliance may result in a two-week delay due to the orientation schedule.

Orientation

Non-billable orientation hours will be determined based on the length of the assignment.
