Speech Pathologist

Shift Information

Days (08:00 AM - 04:30 PM)

Overview

The Rehabilitation teams evaluate and treat patients with injuries or conditions that have impacted their self-care, physical mobility, or functional independence. The speech therapy teams assess and treat individuals experiencing difficulties with speech sounds, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive functions such as memory, attention, and problem-solving. We provide care to adult patients with a variety of diagnoses in both acute and outpatient settings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat adult patients experiencing communication and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care plans.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding speech and language disorders.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

Current unencumbered Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license required.
Certificate of Clinical Compliance from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association, or active participation in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required.
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in speech-language pathology.
Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
Ability to travel to multiple points of care as needed.

Holiday coverage required.
