Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Operating Room to join our team for a 13-week contract. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment focused on providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Function as the primary circulator in the Operating Room, ensuring the safe and efficient flow of surgical procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Prepare and maintain the surgical environment, including equipment and instrumentation.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes during surgery.
• Document all nursing care and maintain accurate records as per regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of new nursing staff when necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting.
• Current and valid RN licensure.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule

This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with on-call duties once per week and every fourth weekend. Holiday availability may be required.

This role allows for minimal to no request time off (RTO). Local candidates are welcomed and will be considered at a competitive rate.
