Sarasota, FL

About

Located on Florida's southwest coast, Sarasota is a chic city with an ideal mix of world-class cultural attractions and natural wonders. It may best be known for Siesta Key Beach, which is often named the most beautiful beach in the country due to its pristine white sands of fine white quartz. The stunning Marie Selby Botanic Garden offers plenty of visual delights, and you can get up close with sharks, sea turtles, otters and manatees at Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium. If you want to experience a floating tiki bar, join one of the Low Tide Tours for a fun trip through the waterways while sipping tropical beverages. Sarasota is also home to Siesta Key Run, a fantastic distillery and one of the state's finest craft rum producers. Visitors are welcome to sample unique flavors in the tasting room, ranging from your usual spiced rum to toasted coconut.
