We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Savannah, GA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Georgia state respiratory therapist license in good standing with the State License Board.
• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• One year of experience as an RRT. Must include at least 1 year Neonatal ICU or PICU critical care experience (client-specific requirement).
• BLS certification.
• PALS certification required (client-specific requirement).
• Experience with neonatal and pediatric ventilators and therapies. Preferred equipment familiarity includes Servo-U and Drager VN500 ventilators, HFOV, HFJV, Bubble CPAP, Vaportherm, heliox therapy, nitric oxide, and non-invasive ventilation modalities such as BiPAP and CPAP (client-specific requirement).
• Experience with Epic documentation system preferred.
• Required to wear hunter green uniform per unit dress code (client-specific requirement).

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Unit: Neonatal ICU (Neonatal RRT) / Pediatric critical care environment.
• Shift name: Nights.
• Shift hours: 1900 - 0700 (12-hour night shift).
• Scheduling requirement: 7 PM start for 12-hour shifts (client-specific detail).
• Must be able to independently admit and manage ventilated pediatric/neonatal patients and set up/manage heliox therapy (client-specific requirement).
