We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• ACLS (AHA)
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• PALS
• Neonate experience with Bubble Cpap and vent
• Experience drawing ABGs and performing EKGs

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekend coverage required on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• Holiday coverage required
• On-call coverage required about 4 days per month
• Call response time is 1 hour
• May float within RT in the local zone only if there is an extreme need
• Will be the only therapist on shift with a second therapist on call
• Charting system: EPIC
• Patient population includes adults, pediatrics, and neonates
• Coverage areas include inpatient, outpatient, and ER
• Equipment includes Puritan Bennett 980 vents, C1 Hamilton CPAP and BiPAP, AirVo and Vapotherm high flow, and Fisher and Paykel Bubble CPAP
