Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. Bring your orthopedic and surgical nursing expertise to a 21-bed unit while earning competitive weekly compensation on a 48-hour day-shift schedule.

ASSIGNMENT HIGHLIGHTS

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,780

• Location: Arlington, VA

• Contract: 13 Weeks

• Target Start Date: November 16, 2026

• Schedule: 4x12 Days | 48 Hours/Week

• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• Additional Scheduling: 3x12 option available

• Weekends: Every other weekend

• Unit: 21-Bed Surgical Unit

• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric

• Charting: Epic ClinDoc

WEEKLY COMPENSATION

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,780

• Taxable Weekly Pay: $780

• Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: $2,000

• Overtime: Listed after 48 hours per week, subject to applicable law and assignment terms

Advertised compensation reflects the 48-hour schedule. Compensation for the 36-hour option may differ.

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical RN experience

• Active Virginia or Compact RN license in hand at submission

• BLS certification

• Experience caring for adult and geriatric medical/surgical patients

• Availability for every-other-weekend coverage

Preferred:

• Orthopedic and general surgery nursing experience

• Care of total joint replacement and fracture patients

• NG tube and surgical drain management

• IV insertion experience

Clinical Environment:

• 21-bed surgical nursing unit

• Orthopedic, general surgery, and medical patients

• Total joint replacements and fractures

• Epic ClinDoc documentation

Additional Requirements:

• Seasonal flu vaccination required; medical exemptions with physician documentation may be considered.

• COVID-19 vaccination required; medical or religious exemption requests are subject to review.

• Start date may vary based on Epic training requirements.
