• Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NICU

• Location: Charlottesville, VA

• Contract Duration: 13 or 26 Weeks

• Shift: Nights

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 Hours per Week

• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Job Requirements

• Experience: 4 years preferred; candidates with 2+ years of experience may be considered.

• Required Certifications: RRT and BLS.

• Virginia License: Active VA license preferred. Candidates with a pending VA license may be submitted.

• Temporary License: Candidates must hold an active respiratory therapy license in another state and obtain a Virginia temporary license before the start date.

• Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Scheduling Requirements

• Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays.

• Time off around Christmas cannot be approved.

• Every other weekend rotation required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized respiratory care to critically ill newborns in the NICU.

• Manage ventilators, oxygen therapy, and respiratory support equipment.

• Monitor respiratory status and collaborate with neonatal care teams.

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow established clinical protocols.
