Advanced Radiology Consultants is seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel MRI Technologist (MRI Tech) for an exciting 13-week assignment in Fairfield, Connecticut. • Schedule: 40 Hours per Week

• Shift: 5 Days x 8 Hours ( Monday - Friday 1:30-9pm or 2pm-9pm.)

• ARRT (R)(MR) required CT License required BLS required Must be proficient in venipuncture 3T GE MRI experience a must

Key responsibilities include:

Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.

• Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the examination process and answering questions.

• Screen patients for MRI safety, including implants, medical devices, and potential contraindications.

• Operate MRI scanners and associated imaging equipment safely and effectively.

• Position patients appropriately to obtain diagnostic-quality images.

• Select and adjust imaging protocols based on physician orders and patient needs.

• Monitor patients throughout procedures to ensure safety and comfort.

• Recognize and respond appropriately to patient concerns or potential adverse reactions.

• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.

• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

• Follow infection control procedures, radiation safety principles where applicable, and facility protocols.

• Maintain MRI equipment and report any technical issues or equipment malfunctions.

• Ensure compliance with departmental policies, patient confidentiality, and applicable healthcare regulations.
