Opportunity:

RN - Ortho/Trauma/Spine

Job Details:

• Work on a dedicated Orthopedic/Trauma/Spine unit with 18 beds
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Must maintain a 50+ mile radius requirement
• Float requirement to all Med Surg units and ED Holds
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Utilize telemetry monitoring, IV infusion pumps, bladder scanners, EKGs, enteral feeding pumps, BiPAPs, Vapotherms, drains, chest tubes, PPN/TPN, and PCA
• EMR system: Meditech
• Perform IV therapy and medication administration, blood product administration, wound care management, central line care and maintenance, and enteral feeding management
• Current RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Medical-surgical nursing experience required
• Ability to care for telemetry patients required
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills required
• Experience managing patients with multiple chronic conditions required
• Surgery step-down/MedSurg experience preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, excellent communication with interdisciplinary teams, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients effectively expected
