Opportunity:

RN - Medical Surgical

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts with schedule preference to be communicated prior to interview
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• 60-bed Medical Surgical Unit with mixed acuity and patient populations
• Care for post-surgical cases, diverse medical conditions, traumas, strokes, and inpatient hospice patients
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Care Team using clinical pathways, patient education, and interactive communication
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized written plans of care based on physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual assessments
• Demonstrate effective communication through collegial relationships, SBAR, and interdisciplinary communication
• 2+ years of straight Medical Surgical experience required (not float, SDU, or telemetry)
• Level I or II Trauma experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Must maintain strict attendance policy - 3 strikes for absences or being more than 20 minutes late results in immediate termination
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
• Michigan nursing license required with LARA and Nursys verification
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
