Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week (12 shifts per month)
• 4 weekend shifts required per month
• Department leadership completes the schedule around requested time off
• Patient ratio of 2:1 in a 25-bed ICU
• Scrubs required (any color acceptable)
• Document using Meditech Expanse system
• Update MyCare boards each shift during bedside shift report; bedside shift report completed at each change of shift
• Floating on a rotation basis with travelers floating first
• Strong telemetry skills required
• Experience titrating vasoactive and inotrope medications required
• Chest tube experience required
• Previous ICU experience required
• Open heart experience preferred
• Temporary pacing experience preferred
• Swan-Ganz catheter experience preferred
• Perform procedures including intubation, central line and arterial line placement, and chest tube placement
• Work with GE Monitors, Hamilton BiPAPs and high-flow devices, Puritan ventilators, and Hemospheres equipment
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS

This facility is a comprehensive regional hospital operating a 25-bed ICU with around-the-clock mid-level providers, trauma surgeons, and respiratory therapists. Physical and occupational therapy services are available during day shifts. The facility holds notable certifications including Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level 2 Trauma Center, and Three Star STS Open Heart Program designations, reflecting its commitment to high-acuity patient care.
