MRI Tech

Job Details:

• 4x10 day shifts, Monday through Thursday
• 13-week assignment length
• Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period with the possibility of being called off for 1 shift per 2-week period
• Weekend shifts required
• Call is available but not required
• Float coverage required between Outpatient, Inpatient, and ED units
• Daily caseload of 30-40 patients
• Perform a wide variety of MRI exams including Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI on day shift, and brain, spine, abdomen, and extremity scans on night shift
• Patient acuity ranges from ambulatory to total assist; more ambulatory patients on day shift and more partial to total assist inpatients on night shift
• Experience with Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, and Adolescents preferred
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required; externships do not count toward experience
• Must be proficient with Epic charting system
• Scrub color: Any (no reddish-orange permitted)
• Parking is facility paid
• Required certifications: BLS, ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) (hard stop), Washington State license specific to MRI
• ARRT(R) is not required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted

Facility:

This facility is a Level II Trauma Center offering a comprehensive range of services including outpatient, interventional radiology, emergency room, and inpatient care across two campuses with a combined total of 571 staffed beds. The MRI department operates 2 rooms and handles a high volume and diverse mix of imaging studies, supporting patients across multiple care settings. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides a dynamic environment for imaging professionals.
