Opportunity:

RN - MS Stroke Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Scrub color required: Navy Blue
• Care for adult patients with common diagnoses including stroke, altered mental status, renal conditions, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation cases, general med-surg, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues
• Operate specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
• Work in a 64-bed unit
• 2+ years of experience in med-surg with stroke stepdown experience required
• Travel experience required
• EMR experience with EPIC required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIHSS (NIH certification required for this unit and can be obtained prior to start)
• Active NY RN license required with NURSYS verification
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
